XP and level up

Your XP gauge is displayed in the bar at the base of the main screen.

As a young professional rider of 19 years of age, you begin at the bottom of the ladder, at level 1.

Each time that the gauge is totally filled, you level up. Your gains change depending on the level:

• a skill point (each level).
• a choice of enhanced attributes or potential (at each level in the beginning and less regularly thereafter).
• access to more prestigious races (levels 6/9/13/17).

Don't forget to work on, in advance, the desired domains (Sprinter, Stage races, etc...) in order to steer your evolution when levelling up. For that, you must choose the relevant actions on the Weekly tab of the Training page.

You can see the evolution of your rider on the Riders page (Evolution tab). For that, you just click on the name of your Pro Cyclist in the bar at the base.

Experience Points (XP) are mainly gained by fulfilling the objectives set by your manager during races, as well as through other occasional achievements. Other gains are automatically made each month through training (except off-season: November/December/January).

Become leader and choose team-mates

By drawing attention to yourself by your performances and by achieving the objectives set by your manager, you will earn the chance to become a leader within your team. This will allow you to have team-mates with you during races, supporting you all the way to victory. You can thus control them, to some extent during races in order to, for example, set up a sprint train in front of your rider or to protect you inside the peloton.

Being a leader also allows you to choose you preferred team-mates for a race, under certain conditions:

• be among the best riders in the team.
• have reached level 5.
• have a manager satisfaction of, at least, 75%.

Requests for team-mates works on the same points system as requests for race registrations. It is thus essential that you do not spend all of your season points in one go!

Contract

As of April, your agent will give you a list of teams with whom it may be possible to envisage a contract for the next season. You must use contacts of interest to target one or several teams on this list in order to increase your chances of receiving an offer from them.

Later on, starting in August, you will receive offers. You are more likely to receive offers from teams who interest you.
